Couples like Meghan and Chad are the ones who truly make me love what I do. Having never met me (except for our skype dates), they trusted me to capture their amazing destination wedding at the beautiful resort, Villa Del Palmar in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Right from the start of their day, the vibes were good. These two were so chill — the best way to be on a wedding day! In the morning, Meghan and her mom went to Costco to pick out some beautiful flowers to make her bouquet and table arrangements. Evidently this store was are carbon copy of their Costco back in Denver, Colorado.. and yes, your memberships work worldwide.. whaaat? High five, Costco. No set time frame, no bridal party, these two thoroughly enjoyed their day without rushing around anywhere! We captured their first looks — Meghan was on the fence about doing a first look, but Chad really wanted to (I always think it’s super cute when the guys want to do it, as usually they’re the ones against it)– so they did! They dug their toes into the sand and said their I-do’s during their small and intimate beach ceremony. They are still arguing as to whether or not Chad shed a tear, but we have some photo evidence that could go either way lol. I quickly snuck them away and we headed to a beautiful little area I had scoped out earlier in the day, a diamond in the rough! I knew this location would be perfect once the sun dropped to the horizon, and it had that real Mexican vibe that I wanted for their portraits! We finished their beautiful day off with a delicious meal while the Harvest moon rose over the ocean. Since their wedding was at the start of their holiday, they got to share the remainder of the week with all their besties and family.. and Josh and I too 😉 . Thank you again Meghan & Chad! I wish you nothing but a lifetime of belly laughs, snugly nights, cold beers, bear hugs and adventures!
